Age: 7 years
Paud spent all seven years of his life chained up and when we were told about him he had a bone sticking out of his foot after it was broken in some sort of accident. We still dont know what the growth on the top of his head was but it was removed all the same. It took six weeks to get the infection under control and once that was achieved, he had his toe amputated. As you can see a missing toe has made no difference to him and he is now ready for a new home. Gets on well with his two pen mates and loves his food. He’s full of beans and would need an energetic home,if you would like to give Paud a home please email email@example.com.
We are a small not-for-profit rescue organisation that is dedicated to helping huskies, wolf type breeds and their owners that are in need. Although dedicated to huskies we will not hesitate to help any breed of dog, cat or wildlife. Every case will be treated individually and no judgement will be passed, as we all know and have experienced from time to time changes in circumstances. Even people with the best will and intention in the world have found themselves having to surrender their fur family member. We will help in any way we can be it advice, rescue and re-homing. We are 100% volunteer based at our rescue site in Lisselton and charity shop in Rock Street, Tralee. As we receive no government funding the running costs are funded by donations and our charity shop.
The rescue is currently experiencing extreme financial difficulties due to the rising costs in living, for example our brand of dog food alone has increased in price by 9 euro per bag since March 33 ,over 30 percent and the rescue on average uses up to 8 bags each week. This is outside of the medical grade food we also use for dogs and cats with specific dietary requirements. As you all know electricity costs have gone through the roof. At the rescue we have many abandoned/rescued reptiles such as snakes and bearded dragons, it is paramount for their survival that the reptile house be kept at between 27 and 29 degrees. We have a huge amount of abandoned puppies which need heat lamps to keep them warm. All costs are rising hugely including vets, vaccines, medications etc and it is a huge struggle at the moment. We are extremely grateful for the support we receive but are very concerned about the coming winter as costs seem to be continuing to rise each day.
Clothes from the clothes banks will be distributed to the poorest regions of the world.

We are thankful to have a new source of funding for our rescue with our clothes bins. These clothes bins will greatly help the animals in need at our rescue and future animals that may come into our care. If you are a business owner and would like to help our cause, then could you please contact us at 087 351 2719 or firstname.lastname@example.org to possibly put one of our clothes bins on your commercial property. Every clothes bin we have is helping to provide the necessary funds needed to aid these animals.

Hi everyone, I am one of two left of a litter of puppies that were surrendered as we were unwanted and there was nobody out there to love us. I have been at the rescue a few months now and some of my litter mates went to their forever homes and are having so much fun but again, I have been overlooked. I am full of fun and very sociable. I am a very active young girlie so an energetic family would suit be best. I would love to be included in your home and become a part of your family. I would be a great addition to any household. A bit of training and I would scrub up to be a fine pet!

Hi everyone, my name is Dokley. I was rescued from a lady with my friend Oakley. She was trying to look after all of us but unfortunately for her it was too big a task as there were too many of us. We were very hungry and too skinny, our bellies rumbled all day long. I would be your best friend forever if you give me lots of food to keep my belly full as it was empty for too long. I will jump up and give you endless kisses forever, if only you would let me. I would find it fantastic to spend my days walking around with you and getting plenty of exercise but a snuggle in the evenings would be my favourite part of the day. I would show you every day how much I love you and how grateful I would be for a warm, loving, and happy forever home.
Dokley is the sweetest girl and would give you lots of hugs and kisses. She would make sure every day you knew exactly what you would mean to her. She’s full of fun and energy but also enjoys sunbathing and having her snoozes.
🐾 Love Dokley xx
